Ok! We're psyched to go....leaving Lititz May 8 and starting the Way on May 11 when we walk over the Pyrenees. I love saying that, "Walking over the Pyrenees". I suspect it's way easier to say than it is to do. The first day, 17 miles, 4000 feet of elevation change. Whoosh! I'm just hoping all the body parts will hold up. We've been thinking about this journey for about a year, reading blogs, gathering information, watching movies, making packing lists and filling our backpacks. Weighing our backpacks and trying to figure out what we can do without....covering all the possibilities versus carrying the weight. But now, our bags are packed and we are ready to go.....P
